It's time to Get Informed about
Living Donations
While Mike is on the National Kidney Registry for a kidney transplant, the Registry keeps growing --- with roughly 45,000 new patients added each year. And, only about 20,000 DECEASED-donor kidney transplants are conducted annually.
The rest of the potential recipients wait --- many for 3 to 10 years --- IF THEY CAN SURVIVE THAT LONG.
Tragically, thousands die each year simply because time ran out before donors came forward.
That's why now is the time to get the facts about LIVING-donor kidney transplants. This Gift of Life could save the life of my husband.
